This is probably the video on the internet that most strongly resonates with me as a former line cook, and now chef. Omg it is just so fucking funny and on point.
Like, the way he’s just kind always bringing the onions, but never delivering. The way the person making the call is asking again, and again, and again… and the onions are still coming, but still not here. The way he’s getting increasingly more urgent about the call, yet the status of the onions is still… they are coming.
It is hilarious line cook satire. If someone had never set foot in the professional kitchen, and asked what its like, this is probably the video that sums it up best.
